The mounts replace the red (original) rubber mount found at the rear of the exhaust above each silencer.
The mounts on these Mini's are very stiff, this makes them difficult to work with but also transmits vibration through the chassis from the exhaust. These mounts are as strong as the mounts fitted by Mini but due to the design we are able to use a slightly softer compound material. This means they are much easier to use when fitting and removing but also they can have the effect of making sound inside the vehicle from the exhaust less. Ideal if you have a sports or race exhaust fitted.
If you have a car with the exhaust that comes out at one side then you will require both of these, if your car has the centre exit exhaust then you will require 4 of them (we sell singles also - can be found in our shop)
